Avalon Legends

I've played Avalon for almost eight years now and I'm still fascinated by it. It really is a living, breathing world and it's amazing to think that it's been around since before the internet and since the very year I was born! With sponsorship it's also now free to play which has made a great difference to the number of new players.

The combat system is the most intense, thrilling and CHALLENGING I've ever seen where skill is the most important factor -- no competition for who has the best "gear" or the most friends to determine how a fight plays out.

All of Avalon's storyline is driven by the players and this is what makes it so special; there's no artificially contrived roleplay or rigid events. Everything is fluid and it is the players that have made history in this world for 25 years and this to me is its biggest draw: That one player, if they're good enough, can really leave their stamp on history.
