Eh

Don’t get me wrong. It’s one of the better DBZ muds still running. But there in lies that issue. It’s a DBZ mud that is still running. The playerbase is small, and often the mud feels empty except for people who know each other well. They are welcoming, but you’re like an outsider that has come to a place who is frequented by the same group of people for the last decade.

For the game itself, they nerfed PL and gains from the original saga clones. Everything is dependent on stats now. All transformations have been made an equal 10x pl modifier, doesn’t matter if it’s SSj or Freiza Gold. Instead the stats do the heavy lifting. It is entirely possible to be 100x stronger than a mob and it have stats that mean you can’t beat it. The skill tree is slightly inventive, but that is mostly where the good ends. Progression of skills is locked behind other skills. The problem with that is that the higher tier skills are often worse than the lessor skills by the time you get them. Many of the best moves cannot be used to start a fight.

Now, for the RP. I don’t know what they have going on with this story. They turned DBZ into some kind of Star Wars and everyone there seems happy with that. It’s all played by a very small group of people. Contributions are always added when you do the RPs, but unless you find someone picking up on your vibe, expect to RP alone.

The rewards for RP also leave a lot to be desired. It’s most inane items, very weak power ups, of a fraction of a percentage increase on your gains.

I would say, while it has some positives that this is a game better left in the past.
