A friendly, helpful playerbase and an extensive coding of the ruleset from the popular tabletop RPG Shadowrun's 3rd Edition (which has spawned several video games) combine to create an immersive experience in a setting where orks, trolls, elves, and dwarves live amongst the human populace in a world where magic has returned. As a heavy roleplay mud, where building a character is much more than just the sum of its statblock, you will find yourself creating memories as your character interacts with the world and other player characters. Our actions have consequences, for better or for worse. We do lean more heavily on the gritty reality aspect of the setting than the more anime-esque powerful technology and magic side of things (ie, more "black trenchcoat" rather than "pink mohawk").
